Artisan Addendum

This Addendum applies to all artisan/service-provider accounts on Arteesa and supplements the Terms of Service. In case of conflict, this Addendum controls for artisan matters.
1. Enrollment and Verification
- Artisans must provide accurate identity, profile, category, and payout information.
- Arteesa may require KYC/verification checks and may reject or suspend accounts that fail verification.
- Using false credentials, proxy identities, or borrowed payout accounts is prohibited.
2. Service Listing and Conduct Standards
- Listings must be truthful, complete, and aligned with real capabilities and availability.
- Artisans must perform services safely, lawfully, and with reasonable care.
- Artisans must comply with all licensing, labor, tax, and industry regulations applicable to their services.
3. Pricing, Fees, and Charges
- Arteesa may apply platform commissions, processing fees, and other disclosed transaction fees.
- Fees may be updated with notice, subject to legal and contractual requirements.
- Attempting to bypass platform fees through off-platform payment diversion is prohibited.
4. Booking Lifecycle Duties
- Respond promptly to booking requests and keep schedule and status updates accurate.
- Use platform messaging for key service communication, quotes, confirmations, and evidence records.
- Artisans may not mark work complete when core obligations remain unfinished.
5. Payouts and Settlement
- Payouts are subject to verification, fraud screening, refund/chargeback windows, and dispute holds.
- Incorrect payout details provided by artisans may delay or fail settlements.
- Arteesa may reverse, hold, or offset balances where required for fraud, disputes, legal compliance, or correction.
6. Refunds, Cancellations, and Disputes
Artisans must cooperate with investigations, evidence requests, and dispute outcomes under the Refund/Cancellation/Dispute Policy.
7. Ratings, Reviews, and Quality Signals
- Ratings and review outcomes may affect listing visibility, quality score, and account standing.
- Manipulating ratings, review coercion, fake review purchases, and retaliatory behavior are prohibited.
8. Insurance and Risk Allocation
- Artisans are responsible for risk management and required insurance for their services where applicable.
- Arteesa may request proof of coverage for certain high-risk categories.
9. Taxes and Reporting
- Artisans are solely responsible for their tax obligations arising from earnings on Arteesa.
- Arteesa may provide transaction histories, but does not provide tax advisory services.
10. Prohibited Artisan Behaviors
- Identity fraud, credential misrepresentation, forged permits, or falsified completion evidence.
- Unsafe work practices, harassment, discriminatory refusal of lawful service, or threats.
- Requesting direct payments outside approved platform channels for active Arteesa bookings.
11. Suspension, Offboarding, and Reinstatement
- Arteesa may suspend, restrict, or remove artisan accounts for legal risk, trust/safety events, or policy breach.
- Outstanding liabilities (refunds, chargebacks, penalties) may be set off against pending balances where lawful.
